HOW WE WILL CALCULATE YOUR BALANCE: We use a method called “daily balance (including new purchases).”

LOSS OF INTRODUCTORY APR: We may end the availability of any intro APR on new purchases and balance transfers and apply the Penalty APR to those transactions if you make a late payment.

HOW WE CALCULATE VARIABLE RATES BASED ON THE PRIME RATE: We use the highest Prime Rate listed in The Wall Street Journal on the last business day of the month. For the purchase and balance transfer APR, we add from 8.74% to 17.74% to the Prime Rate based on your creditworthiness. For the cash advance APR, we add 20.74% to the Prime Rate. For the penalty APR, we add from up to 13.74% to up to 22.74% to the Prime Rate. Each time you do not make the minimum payment due by the payment due date, we may add up to an additional 5 percentage points to the otherwise applicable APR. The amount we add is based on your creditworthiness and other factors such as your current APRs and your account history. See Cardmember Agreement for details.

INTRODUCTORY APR OFFERS: This offer applies to balance transfers that post to your account by January 10, 2012. If you request balance transfers after this date, they will only be honored at our discretion and may be subject to different rates. It takes at least 10 days after your account is opened to process payments to your other accounts. You may cancel a balance transfer at any time prior to that by calling (800) 347-2683. Accordingly, you should continue to make all required payments until you confirm that the balance transfers were made. Balance transfers may not be used to pay any Discover accounts. Balance transfers do not earn rewards. We process multiple balance transfers in the order they are requested on the application. Your credit line may be less than the amount of balance transfers you request. In addition, balance transfers may be limited to a portion of your credit line. If a balance transfer will exceed the credit available for a balance transfer, you authorize us to process any balance transfer for less than the amount requested, up to the amount of your credit available for balance transfers. You may only make balance transfers to accounts that list you as an accountholder. There is no grace period on balance transfers. The minimum payment due calculation increases by $40 when you have a balance transfer balance.

PAYMENT ALLOCATION: We apply payments and credits at our discretion, including in a manner most favorable or convenient for us. Each billing period, we will generally apply amounts you pay that exceed the minimum payment due to balances with higher APRs before balances with lower APRs as of the date we credit your payment.

APPLICATION INFORMATION: Federal law requires that we obtain certain information about you such as your date of birth and street address in order to verify your identity. This offer is non-transferable. Changes to any addressee name will void this offer. Offer only available to U.S. residents 18 and older. Your credit line will be at least $500 and along with other terms of the account, will be based on a review of the information you provide in this application, your current consumer report and any other information bearing on your creditworthiness. If this is a cell phone number you agree that we may contact you using a dialer for service-related reasons, including pre-recorded messages and/or text messages, even if your cell phone provider may charge you for calls according to your current plan. Instant Approval Credit Cards

Looking for a credit card which issues quick decisions?  Then look no  further.  The Buy Right Credit hard will work just fine for you.  Click on our sponsors for more information.

Often when the time comes to search the internet for a credit card, it is for an immediate purpose. Maybe there has been a medical emergency, or something in the house has broken down, or a vehicle needs immediate repairs so it can take you to work. Or it could be smaller but just as important: needing to fill the gas tank or purchase groceries or pay the light bill.

Perhaps nothing so severe has taken place, but your current cards are less than ideal and you want minimum delay between closing one card and using the next. In any case, while looking at the abundant offers for plastic on the internet, instant approval credit cards can easily catch your eye. But what are they really?

The first cautionary word is that “instant” means different things to different providers. If you are offered a store credit card with instant approval, usually you can put charges on the card during that same trip. This is so the stores can encourage you to purchase big ticket items, taking advantage of promotional start up deals.

Online, however, “instant” sometimes means that you receive conditional approval – contingent on credit checks that may take weeks, followed by waiting for the physical card to arrive in the mail. Always read the fine print for any card offer, not only for instant approval credit cards.

A second note of warning is that too frequent requests for instant credit can have a negative effect on your overall credit score. While you may find constant reminders from advertisers to check your credit score to be tiresome, it is important to know your score at least roughly. The impact it has on credit card offers goes far beyond mere approval or denial.

If you have bad credit most cards may only grant you a secured account. This requires you to make a special account; the amount you deposit is the amount you can charge. This protects the bank in case you later cannot pay your bills. A bank that approves an unsecured application for someone with bad credit may use it as an opportunity to pile on the fees. This goes behind a high annual percentage rate, including shocking account start-up fees, late fees, and huge penalties for charging over your limit.

If you have good credit, then instant approval credit cards can work for you just as well as credit cards acquired by means of a longer application process. Just be sure the normal fees and percentage rates are acceptable to you, and that if you need to, you will have the ability to use the account at once without waiting for the post office to deliver your card.

Capital One Visa Card

If you’re in the market for a new credit card, you may have seen some Capital One options. Capital One has been in the credit card business for more than 20 years. Today it has some of the strongest rewards programs available on the market. Read on for a brief history of Capital One, as well as what you can expect when you apply for a new card.

History of Capital One

Richard Fairbank founded Capital One in 1988. Since its beginning, the company has specialized in financial products and services. Its efforts helped bring about the mass marketing of credit cards in the 1990s. Today Capital One is a Fortune 500 company with headquarters located in McLean, Virginia. Its clients are based in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Capital One Credit Cards

Perhaps the most easily recognized cards that Capital One offers are its line of no hassle rewards credit cards. These cards are designed to make it easy for customers to accumulate rewards and receive them. They are made for people who want to earn rewards but do not want to deal with extra fees or regulations.

While many card issuers offer reward programs, Capital One has a few unique features that set its programs apart from the others. With the hassle-free program, there is no limit on the amount of cash that can be earned each year. The cash and other rewards do not have expiration dates, meaning that customers do not have to use them within a certain period of time.

Capital One offers a wide selection when it comes to rewards. Customers can choose from cash, airline tickets, travel benefits, gift certificates, and other rewards. Its system provides rewards in a customer-friendly style. Customers usually earn a steady percentage of cash back or number of miles for each purchase made. They can follow their plans through their online accounts.

For most Capital One rewards cards, customers are required to have good to excellent credit. If you are not sure where your credit stands, check before applying. The higher the score, the greater the amount of rewards can be earned.

Some of Capital One’s cards charge an annual fee, while others do not. Its cards may also come with additional fees, such as late charges and over-the-limit fees. This is similar to many other credit cards in the industry today.

Other Benefits from Capital One

Most Capital One credit cards do not charge for foreign transactions. This means that, unlike many other credit options, customers who take the card on vacation to another country can use it and not have to pay extra charges. Some of its cards also offer ways to earn bonus points by shopping through certain retailers.

When you sign up for a Capital One card, you can expect to earn decent rewards. The best way to make sure that this will happen is to read the fine print and understand how to make the card work for you. Once you start using it, cash in your rewards as they accumulate. By doing so, you’ll not only have a dependable credit card that you can travel with; you’ll also enjoy many other additional benefits.

With the advent of plastic money sure you are enjoying the power to possess different goods and services before even making payments. But the question here is, are u really enjoying your credit worthiness or actually paying more on the name of free credit? You may call it a privilege but it’s all a money making business so if you are not smart enough using your credit cards you may end a being ripped of by banks. Following are some considerations you should make before buying and while using a credit card.

Brand:
Your credit card brand decides the acceptance of your card around the globe. Some of the popular brands are Master, Visa, Visa Electron, American express, Cirrus, Maestro etc. Master and Visa cards are most widely accepted card brands. You should get a card with these holograms on otherwise you would keep searching ATMS and merchants accepting your card.

Interest rates:
Reviewing and comparing the interest rates is the preliminary thing that has to be done. It is usually seen that credit cards giving you offers like merchants discount, petrol surcharge waiver, gift voucher etc. usually have a higher rate of interest. As a customer you should purely focus on getting the lowest interest rate instead of being carried away by the rewards and the gifts. For example ICICI bank and SBI charge no joining fee and no annual fee but their interest rates are as high as 45.09% and 44.25% respectively. On the other hand HDFC charges Rs 300 as joining fee and 700 as an annual fee on their silver card but it has a low interest rate of 41.75% both in the case of credit and cash withdrawal.

Maximum Credit Free period:
If you really want to enjoy the free ride, you should search for credit cards with the above feature and the one that provides more stretch of time. Most cards provide you 48 to 50 days as grace period.

Revolving Credit and Balance Transfer facility:
It is not just enough to have free credit period but also flexible repayment option. So, you stay easy even after your deadline is gone. In the case of the credit cards with no extended credit facility you have to pay interest on the whole amount from the day of transaction, if you fail to pay your dues on time, but in the case of revolving credit you can pay a part your dues (Min 5% of the principle amount) and then pay interest only on the amount outstanding from the day of your deadline. Cards like HSBC also provide you the option of paying your outstandings at predefined EMIs.
